On December 22, MTV LA will air MTV LA VMA special show where they will show what happened in Playa del Carmen when the show was canceled, reveal some secrets about the show, reveal all the winners and show how they recieved their awards.

MTV LA has published the list of winners.

Shakira recieved 5 awards:

Artista del Año (Artist of the Year),
Mejor Artista Pop (Best Pop Artist),
Mejor Artista Femenina (Best Female Artist),
Mejor Artista – Central (Best Artist from Central region)
Video del Año: Shakira por La Tortura (con Alejandro Sanz) (Video of the Year)
Shakira was nominated 6 times - she was nominated twice in Video of the Year category (for La Tortura and No) but she could win only one award in this category.

All awards were determined by public voting on MTV LA website. Thanks to all the fans who voted and made this happen!
